Devsinc, a global technology company, and IGI General Insurance marked the successful Phase 1 Go-Live of the IGI Insurance Mobile App at a joint event held at IGI’s Lahore office.
The milestone represents a significant step forward in the strategic partnership between the two organizations, focused on delivering a modern, seamless and end-to-end digital experience for insurance customers across Pakistan.
The IGI Insurance Mobile App
The IGI Insurance app is built for iOS and Android and is intended to give customers a self-service way to discover, buy, manage and claim insurance, reducing dependence on branch visits and call-centre support.
Phase 1 spans IGI’s General Insurance lines, including Motor, Travel, Home and Personal insurance, with IGI’s Life Insurance offerings also surfaced within the same app.
The app is designed to offer customers guided, step-by-step purchasing with real-time premium calculation and issuance-status visibility, along with document and image upload, inspection scheduling, and Temporary Cover Note issuance. It also supports digital Motor and Travel claim submission through a unified policyholder dashboard, integrated with IGI’s central policy database, giving customers visibility into their active policies regardless of how those policies were originally purchased.

A Milestone for the Partnership
Phase 1 reflects months of close collaboration between Devsinc and IGI Insurance, bringing together engineering, product and business teams from both organizations to design and deliver the app. The engagement was led on Devsinc’s side by Junaid Rehmat, Delivery Head, and Syed Muhammad Faisal, Project Manager, working closely with IGI Insurance’s technology and business teams.
The project reinforces Devsinc’s role in translating a traditionally paper-heavy, multi-product insurance business into a seamless digital experience, and represents a concrete step in IGI Insurance’s digital transformation journey and its commitment to modern customer channels.
Go-Live Event
The Go-Live was celebrated at IGI Insurance’s Lahore office, with senior leadership from both organizations in attendance. The event included a walkthrough of the project and mobile app, discussions around the solution and its expected customer impact, a cake-cutting ceremony, a joint giveaway session, and networking and knowledge exchange between the two teams, along with a discussion on the way forward for the partnership.

Looking Ahead
Phase 1 establishes the foundation for a broader roadmap, and Devsinc and IGI Insurance are already working on Phase 2. The next phase will extend the platform with end-to-end claims review, inspection workflows, workshop and vendor workflows, and online refunds.
